Award: One of approximately 40 $10,000 US fellowships. Established in 1938 to honour famed pilot and Zontian Amelia Earhart, these fellowships support women pursuing doctoral degrees in aerospace-related sciences and engineering. Women with superior academic records whom are enrolled in aerospace-related doctoral degree programs at a registered college or university are eligible.
The 2023 Amelia Earhart Fellowship application is now closed. The 2024 Amelia Earhart application will open in July 2023.

The successful applicant will receive $1000 CDN from our club. Her name will be forwarded to our District. The successful candidate at the district level will also receive $5000 US.
The Award encourages young women to participate in public and community affairs and issues. Female high school students 16-19 years old whom show commitment to public service through volunteerism and demonstrated leadership skills are eligible.

Award: A framed certificate and recognition at a Zonta meeting. This Award recognizes women who have significantly contributed to our community.
Each year, we choose different criteria from which we recognize women for their contributions to the community. The 2022 theme is; local women, whose volunteer efforts have supported the community in managing the covid crisis.

Award: $5,000 US at Zonta's District and International levels. Details including scholarship application can be found here.
The Award encourages women to seek leadership positions in business-related fields, increasing women in executive business management positions. Women enrolled in an undergraduate or Master's business program whom achieve outstanding academic results and demonstrate initiative and ambition for a career in business management are eligible.

Students may be anywhere from 2nd year undergrad to final year master's program at the time of application.
