Betty Thompson Golf Classic Event 2020 Postponed until 2021
ZONTA CLUB of KITCHENER-WATERLOO regretfully announces the 2020 Betty Thompson Golf Classic is Cancelled, in compliance with Federal, Provincial, local business and personal restrictions, plus for the safety and well-being of our golfers, during the Covid-19 crisis.
Thank you to the tremendous support of individuals and businesses in Waterloo Region, we are still accepting donations to our ‘non-golf’ Classic event.
Our Support Continues
All donations to support our initiative, will continue to support women’s health programs in Waterloo Region.
Any donation would be gratefully accepted through the Zonta Foundation (NOTE: Betty Thompson Golf Tournament) can be made. (Any donation $20.00 or more will receive a charitable donation receipt). To safely send your donation, 2 options are available:

28 years of golfing for women's health.
We are the longest running all-female golf tournament in the area.
We have raised over $1 MILLION to support women's health and breast cancer programs in Waterloo Region! and women's health programs in this community! We are now working towards $2 MILLION
Thanks to the tremendous support of golfers, individuals and businesses in Waterloo Region.
We all know women in our lives who have faced a range of health issues, whether breast cancer, ovarian cancer, osteoporosis or mental health issues. Health affects everyone of us.
The Zonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo’s annual Betty Thompson Golf Classic raises funds to support women’s health initiatives in our region. 100% of the funds raised at this tournament supports these initiatives. In 2019 we supported:
Cambridge Memorial Hospital towards warming blanket cabinets
Grand River Hospital Foundation-Waterloo Region, Breast Cancer Centre towards blanket warmers
Hopespring Cancer Support Centre to provide wigs and
St. Mary’s General Hospital towards a Treadmill for use in the Cardiac Rehab Programs
University of Waterloo Living-Fit Program
