Voices Empower

On November 18, 2023, the Zonta Team Says No will be participating for the second year in the Voices Empower Walk to raise Funds for Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region. You will see us wearing our orange Zonta Say No To Violence Against Women shirts, along with a purple accessory representing a symbol of peace, courage, survival, honour and dedication to ending violence. This walk ties in to our kickoff of the 16 Days to End Gender Based Violence, Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women campaign which runs from November 25 to December 10th. This walk is our service project during this period. We will also be asking members and guests at our November 15th meeting to bring donations of shampoo, conditioner and body wash which will be given to our local Anselma and Haven Houses for their residents.
