













Award: One of approximately 30 $10,000 US fellowships. Established in 1938 to honour famed pilot and Zontian Amelia Earhart, these fellowships support women pursuing doctoral degrees in aerospace-related sciences and engineering. Women with superior academic records whom are enrolled in aerospace-related doctoral degree programs at a registered college or university are eligible.
The 2027 Amelia Earhart Fellowship application opens in August 2026.

Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award (formerly the Young Women in Public Affairs Award) recognizes young women, ages 16-19, for demonstrating leadership skills and commitment to public service and civic causes, and encourages them to continue their participation in public and political life.
Zonta International offers 37 international awards of US$5,000 each.
Students must be 16-19 years old on April 1st of the year of the award.
While the KW Zonta Club is not offering a local scholarship, we will forward eligible application to our District 4 awards committee for consideration.

Women pursuing a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) degree program at an accredited institute are eligible.
Students may be anywhere from 2nd year undergrad to final year master's program at the time of application.

The Award encourages women to seek leadership positions in business-related fields, increasing women in executive business management positions. Women enrolled in an undergraduate or Master's business program whom achieve outstanding academic results and demonstrate initiative and ambition for a career in business management are eligible.
